Can I book Newcastle Airport Taxis In advance? 

Yes, it is advisable to book your airport transfer in advance, especially during peak travel periods, to ensure availability and secure the best rates. You can book up to 12 Months in advance and this locks in our best rates and avoids any future prices rises that may occur.

What Information is needed when I book my Newcastle Airport Taxi?

When booking, you will typically need to provide your Name, Contact Number, Email address, flight details (arrival or departure time and flight number) your collection address, including postcode and destination address, including postcode, (such as a hotel or specific location). This information Helps our drivers track your flight and schedule the pickup accordingly.

How much time should i allow for my journey when booking the collection time?

It is recommend that you always add at least 1 hour to the travel time, and desired arrival time. This is to factor in delays outside of your drivers control. We always endeavor to be on time but sometime things are outside of our control i.e. roadworks, crashes, flight delays. In our opinion its always better to be an hour early rather than hour late. Please allow enough time (1 hour window)

What happens after I make my online booking?

After you click book now on our website, you will receive an message with a unconfirmed booking reference. This is a provisional booking. We will review your booking request for vehicle availability within 8 hours and then email and text you, your confirmed booking. This will have your booking confirmation number and a link to pay now! (We do not take any payment until we have confirmed we have vehicle availability for your dates) Once you have received your booking confirmation, You have 24 hours to pay and secure your booking. Can I pay the Newcastle Airport Taxi in cash or with a Card?

All journeys need to paid within 24 Hours of your confirmation email to secure the booking and vehicle. Our drivers do not accept cash or card details in their vehicles, this is done for your convenience and to ensure the fare you book is the fare you pay, this avoids tariffs like in-car waiting charges. We accept Apple Pay, and additionally we use the online secure payment platform Stripe who accept all major debit and all major credit cards. We can also accept Bank transfers for our account details please contact us.

I'm having problems paying and cant find the pay now button on my Samsung device?

On some Samsung devices there are issues with the new security feature. You can either disable this feature by watching the following short video WATCH HERE or send us a message and well send you a stripe secure payment link.

How do i receive a Business invoice?

You do not need to request a an invoice. An Invoice will be attached to your emailed booking confirmation.

What Happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

Your flight will be monitored for its arrival time (early or late), and your driver will arrive at the airport 30 Mins after the flight lands. Included in the booking are 30 minutes of parking at the Pick-up point. Which is a total of 60 minutes wait time, after the flight lands. In our experience, this is more than enough time to get through the airport and arrive at the  meeting point. IF YOUR LATE, WE WAIT!

Where do I meet my driver?

The meeting point at Newcastle Airport is the Express Pickup & drop off Green car park for Taxis and for minibuses the Express Minibus drop off car park next to the green car. Are Newcastle Airport Taxis open 24/7?

Our taxi service operates 24/7 to accommodate flights at all hours, especially for late-night or early-morning transfers.  You will be provided with your drivers mobile phone number in case of any unforeseen circumstance, and he will be given yours! Our main switchboard help line number operating hours are typically available from 9 am to 11pm. You can call text email or WhatsApp us.

Do You Need a Child Car Seat in Taxi or Minibus?

In the UK, child car seats are not compulsory in a Taxi, Minicab, Minibus, Coach or Van. But only if they travel on a rear seat and wear an adult seat belt if they’re 3 or older and without a seat belt if they’re under 3. Taxi drivers are not required to provide them. HOWEVER lots of reputable firms do provide them at an additional cost.
